As you have probably noticed in Germany everything is closed on a Sunday, this might be hard to believe for you, anhow reality here.
One little exception for shopping tours on Sunday in Nuernberg is the main station, as well as the design shop next to the Neues Musuem where you can find top books about Design, Architecture and Art, and a great gift section with little design gadgets.
Also worth noting is that on Sunday you pay only 1€ to visit the collection in Neues Museum.
